Dari penampakannya, sungguh ....… xabre benar-benar memberikan nuansa motor street fighter yang ganteng, gagah sekaligus garang (khusus untuk warna hitam strip merah). Menaikinya dapat memberikan peningkatan aura kegantengan ridernya, percayalah !

Akan tetapi, apa yang dilakukan YIMM sungguhlah aneh. Karena kegagahan xabre tidak diikuti dengan performa engine yang mumpuni di kelasnya (klan engine vixion). Seolah-olah xabre hanya diperuntukkan untuk memperlihatkan kegarangan pada penampilannya , bukan pada performanya. Mari kita lihat perbandingan performa dari xabre, nva, mslaz (xabre versi thailand) dan r15 serta mx king.

Dan power terbesar dipegang oleh m-slaz (xabre versi thailand), sedangkan untuk Indonesia nva masih lebih powerfull dibandingkan xabre. Sedangkan power paling kecil di kalangan motor sport yang dirilis yimm adalah xabre, begitu pula dengan pwr-nya. Dan pemenang dari pwr motor yamaha dengan basis engine vixion adalah mx-king. Jadi kalau diadu drag, maka mxking paling kencang dan xabre paling lemot.

Tapi jangan khawati bagi yang minat meminang xabre, yang merasa performanya kurang. Sudah banyak tersedia bore-up kit untuk engine vixion dan turunannya.

Tinggal bawa xabre ke “ahlinya”, power akan terupgrade maksimal. Puas sama tampangnya yang ganteng-gagah dan garang, begitu pula puas dengan performanya yang jempolan. Bocoran Baru CBR250RR dari Honda di Indonesia

Honda Prototipe Honda "Light Weight Super Sports Concept" di Tokyo Motor Show 2015.

Sosok prototipe konsep sepeda motor super sport berbobot ringan (Light Weight Super Sports Concept) di Tokyo Motor Show 2015, banyak menyita perhatian para pecinta roda dua di Indonesia. Sosoknya yang serba hitam, begitu misterius, membuat benak semakin penasaran.

Tampil tanpa embel-embel spesifikasi, justru informasi diperoleh dari salah satu sumber Honda di Indonesia. "Mesinnya dua silinder twin cam," kata sumber Honda, Kamis (29/10/2015). Dua pipa knalpot yang menjulur di pangkal mesin seolah mengonfirmasi informasi ini.

Dengan mesin dua silinder ini, maka CBR250RR ini akan lebih kompetitif di Indonesia, melawan rival sekelasnya, Kawasaki Ninja250R dan Yamaha R25. 
Tampilan desain konsep Sepeda Motor Sport ini memang terlihat angker dengan balutan kelir hitam dof. Desain fairing depan, ditambah dua lampu sipit, kisi-kisi udara di bawah lampu, menjadikan desain lebih agresif. Selain itu, suspensi depan up-side down, sementara belakang tunggal dari Ohlins.

Ada informasi menarik lainnya, menurut sumber, sepeda motor ini akan menjadi satu-satunya di Indonesia punya ciri khusus dari model lain. "Satu lagi, lengan ayun sepeda motor ini sudah aluminium. Ini satu-satunya di Indonesia, belum ada yang lain," kata sumber itu lagi.

Produksi

Informasi lain, adalah menyangkut rencana kalau prototipe itu bakal diproduksi massal di Indonesia, tepatnya di pabrik PT Astra Honda Motor di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Indonesia ditunjuk sebagai basis produksi, termasuk pusat ekspor ke negara lain di dunia. 

"Saat ini proyek sudah siap jalan, semua persiapan sudah dalam tahap final. Rencananya, produksi akan dimulai paling cepat awal semester kedua 2016, sekitar Agustus," kata sumber itu lagi. 

HondaLight Weight Super Sports Concept bakal diproduksi di Indonesia untuk dunia.

Lahirnya portotipe Light Weight Super Sports Concept ini kabarnya diminta langsung oleh AHM pada prinsipal, supaya menciptakan satu model yang benar-benar baru demi berdaya saing. Setelah berbagai penelitian, termasuk sempat terdengar akan membopong mesin V-Twin, akhirnya lahir juga konsep "Light Weight Super Sports Concept" di perhelatan Tokyo Motor Show 2015.

"Tapi, keren kan tampangnya (Light Weight Super Sports Concept), mudah-mudahan lancar," katanya.
