Rally Dakar 2016: Antoine Meo win in Stage 7

GRC - 2016 Dakar Rally Stage 7 is a very tough trip. At this stage the riders planned to travel as far as 793 km from Uyuni towards Salta as far as 353 km special section. Of course, this trip will be very draining the rider. Moreover, since the second stage (stage 1 was canceled) to stage 6 riders at least have traveled as far as 3,500 km.

In stage 7, the KTM rider Antoine Meo managed to be the fastest rider with a time of 2:27:27, followed by Honda rider Kevin Benavides with a travel time of 2:29:20 and Michael Metge more than 3 minutes 51 seconds of Antoine Meo. Luck seems to happen on a Yamaha rider Helder Rodrigues who is able perched in fourth, while the flagship KTM riders already three times in first place, Toby Price, only able to finish fifth stage 7.

Two riders from TVS Sherco team, Alain Duclos and Pedrero Garcia, remained consistent in the middle of the board, each of which occupy positions 12 and 13. The fate of the poor occur in Husqvarna rider Ruben Faria who can not join the race in stage 7 because of a fracture when crash in stage 6, while Pablo Quintanilla must be satisfied in order to-29.
